How would you grade Juventus' summer transfer window?
The summer transfer window is over and done.
And you know what that means? OPINIONS. LOTS OF OPINIONS.
Under the restrictions of a financial mess largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and fans not being in the Allianz Stadium for the last year and a half, Juventus’ summer mercato was something that was never going to be as free-spending and wild and crazy as some of the other big clubs in Europe. Matching the financial prowess of the big English clubs or Paris Saint-Germain was never going to happen, and therefore Juve — a lot like last summer — was forced to get creative in the way they did things on the market.
And that was even before Cristiano Ronaldo informed the club that he wanted out.
So with no Ronaldo and a club that is coming off two very disappointing results to begin the 2021-22 season sits here in the early days of the September international break, here is what Juventus’ final summer transfer market looked like:
As you can see, not a whole lot of money spent outside of the deal for Locatelli. And, as you can also probably notice, not one of Juventus’ highly-paid but underperforming players was shipped off to another team over the last month or two. (Unless you want to throw Douglas Costa in there, but that happened months ago.)
As much as the end of last week was wild with everything involving Ronaldo going down, it still was very much a quiet transfer window for Juventus. Just look at the list above — much of Juve’s outgoing players were either youngsters coming up from the Under-23 side that went out on season-long loans or senior team players who were never going to stick around to begin with.
At most, Juve will only have three summer signings contribute this season, which could very well be just Manuel Locatelli and Moise Kean is Kaio Jorge is slowly worked into the squad over the course of the year.
So, the ultimate question: How would you grade Juventus’ summer transfer window? Drop a comment or two, all of that good stuff. There will be plenty to talk about in the days to come because Juventus, even with all of the relative inactivity, still has a squad that isn’t exactly looking as complete as we hoped it would be.

My logo was Juventus FC but now I changed with Chelsea FC because I don't see any light in Juventus in this season and their grave mistake was let CR7 Go
That’s good Juventus are a weak club 👏🏽

my own take is 1⃣ can only judge a team transfer activities either good or bad till d season is done and dusted. If d team n qust goes on 2 win d league add UCL nd it Fa cup I think we cant say a bad season 2 dat bt d bottom line is if dos players dat were brought n did a lot n d team achieving success during d season n review.

Nothing changed from last year. Moreover we lost one prolific striker ; Gk ; and promising young talents. And watching Bernardeschi, Bentancur; Ramsey ; Alex ; injured Arthur !!

that's true.. but I fear other serie a teams will not be a walk over anymore.. allegri clearly understand his second stint won't be easier anymore.. he understood that the competition has risen a lot in serie A after the first two matches
yes Serie A is hugely devoloping, and the best thing is Every big teams are switching from Italy's traditional defensive game to more of a modern offensive system, look at Lazio Napoli Atalanta and inter also no longer playing defensive buy juve were willing to do so,but failed to apply it.ad Sarri, and pirlo both had a very good philosophy but with wrong players...

2.5 out of 10 disastrous Mercato in my opinion. 1. we didn't get red of the highly unwanted players (Ramsi, Rugani, Desciglio, and Bernandeski) only Costa was loaned out. 2. we lost our depth by loosing several of good substitutes (Dragusin, Demiral, Fagioli, Flix Correia, and even Buffon) 3. our weakness in LB was not resolved at all. 4. our midfield still fragile and unless most midfielders had huge increase in their performance and cohesion, last season results will continue.

tbh honest,at first glance they have weakened, cuz any team will weakened if they lose 40+ G/A player. But if juve are going to change their game into more defensively(with Ronaldo they attempted to try an offensive play, but it failed and they ended up without having a identity),like ATM,who win 1-0 in almsot everytime.then Dybala, morata, chiesa, kean, kuluseveski are all kore than enough.

Absolute joke Agneli sold our best player and didn't bother to buy someone that can replace him even Eden Hazard wouldn't be enough we had to buy Pjanic Hazard and Icardi in order to replace Ronaldo s gap.
juventus needs a player like Kroos
