Should Mauro Icardi not join Paris Saint Germain on a permanent basis, there are three clubs prepared to swoop in for him according to a report in today's print edition of Tuttosport.
Icardi is currently out on loan at the reigning French champions from Inter and PSG have an option to turn his stay into a permanent one for a sum of €70 million.
The 27-year-old Argentine striker does however have the final say in things which could lead to a permanent switch collapsing if he does not want it.
Juventus are long term admirers of Icardi whilst Real Madrid have also shown an interest in signing him. The newest club in the race for him is Premier League side Chelsea.
Whilst out on loan in the French capital, Icardi has made 29 appearances across all competitions. In just over 1900 minutes on the park, the former Sampdoria forward has scored 19 goals and has tallied four assists.

If he goes to Juventus, he will replace Higuain. If he goes to Chelsea, he will replace Giroud or Tammy. If he goes to Real, he will replace Benzema or Jovic. From this I can conclude that, he should go to Chelsea because Chelsea have somehow weak Strikers and Icardi will be a good Replacement for those centre Forwards. So, I think he will be ideal for Chelsea.
