There will be no Paul Pogba and Juventus reunion this season with the Italian giants ruling out making a move for the midfielder in the January transfer window.
Pogba's future at Manchester United remains up in the air with Sportsmail revealing that he is still wishing to leave the club.
The Frenchman only has 18 months left on his £290,000-a-week contract, although United have an option to extend it by another year until June 2022.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and his former club Juventus have all been linked with the 26-year-old over the last two years. However, speaking about any potential move next month, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici ruled out a Pogba return.
'As I have already said several times, we have a very competitive and complete squad,' he told Calciomercato.
'We have Emre Can and we have Khedira who will come back, so we have no intention of operating on the market.'
Last summer, United made a tentative approach to discuss a new deal but Pogba's camp were not interested in opening talks and there has been no contact since then.
Publicly, the club and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insist the wantaway star is not for sale. But the fact they have prioritised signing two central midfielders and a striker over the next two transfer windows - most likely in the summer - indicates United are preparing for that eventuality.
