Juventus have confirmed the appointment of Paolo Montero to replace sacked coach Max Allegri.
Juventus will go into their final league games against Bologna (Monday) and AC Monza (May 26) with Montero.
The Old Lady announced that the previous coach of the U19s will take over the team on an interim basis until the end of the season.
Allegri was relieved of his duties on Friday.
Montero finished 13th in the Primavera with Juve's U19 team. In 32 league games, he has 13 wins, eight draws and 15 defeats. The Bianconeri are considering Thiago Motta from Bologna as a long-term solution for the new season.

u19 needs to do better than thr 13th in the table. maybe bringing Montero to lead the first team is the management way to put someone else for the u19 job and still thank Montero for what he did to the team as a player and coach. best of luck to the NextGen too they qualified to the next round of SerieB promotion. 3 more rounds only to the qualification. it is very hard to qualify but the boys are doing thoer best.
