Juventus have reportedly agreed personal terms with Martin Caceres and must now negotiate his arrival with Lazio.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juve ‘already have an economic agreement’ with Caceres, who had been on his way to Japanese side Vissel Kobe.
The Sky Sport Italia journalist explains a deal is getting ever closer and the two sides only need to settle on the terms of his transfer.
The Uruguayan played for the Old Lady during the 2009-10 campaign, before returning two years later and winning four Scudetti.
However, competition and injuries prevented the 31-year-old from becoming a first-team regular and he has gone on to play for Southampton, Verona and Lazio.
As well as being an experienced head, Caceres would also be a low-cost option, given he is not an Aquile regular and has an expiring contract.
Talk of his return comes after it emerged Medhi Benatia was ready to join Qatari side Al-Duhail.

Depending on Juventus' decision, does Caceres decide whether to go to Japan or remain in Italy?

Ivanovic is slooooooow af. No thanks. Skrtel is unknown and I’d love to see Caceres return. He was only let go because he had that problem steering his Ferrari.

Exactly. Caceres my pick out of the bunch. Knows the Juventus environment pretty well & will settle in pretty quick.

I don't mind these names. Just an emergency experienced centre back for these 6 months which will hopefully see Rugani play more and won't close the door for De ligt in the summer.
