Juventus are finalising a deal to sign Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz for in a deal worth £42million and have joined Chelsea in having an interest in Nottingham Forest defender Murillo.
Chelsea have enquired about Murillo, who could leave the City Ground for the right price - in the region of £70million - this summer.
But Italian side Juve also have an interest in the centre-back, who is tipped to break into the Brazil squad next season, and are believed to have asked to be kept updated on developments regarding his future.
The 21-year-old emerged as one of the signings of last season as he played a key role in Forest's successful survival tilt.
He made a total of 36 appearances for Forest during the 2023/24 campaign and attracted a number of clubs across Europe with his performances.
Meanwhile, Luiz is close to completing his protracted move to Turin in the coming days.
It is understood the Brazil star will cost Juve around £42million, though that fee could rise depending on various factors.
Arsenal have shown a long-term interest in Luiz, but Juve are well advanced in their attempts to land the midfielder.
