Arsenal scouts have been at the last six Rangers games to watch Finland midfielder Glen Kamara.
The 24-year-old began his career with the Gunners before departing the club in 2017.
He spent time on loan at Southend and Colchester, making his only Gunners appearance in a League Cup fourth round defeat by Sheffield Wednesday in October 2015.
Kamara rebuilt his career with Dundee and made 65 appearances before agreeing to join Rangers in January 2019.
The 14-cap international has impressed in the centre of the pitch for a resurgent Rangers under the management of Steven Gerrard.
He played 80 minutes in the 2-1 league win over Celtic at Parkhead that left Gerrard's side two points from the summit with a game in hand.
