After agreeing to become the new Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag will need to oversee an overhaul of the squad when he eventually takes over in the summer.
Up to 10 players are expected to leave Old Trafford including striker Edinson Cavani, midfielder Paul Pogba and goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
It will leave plenty of scope for the Dutchman, but failure to qualify for next season's Champions League could reduce their targets and budget.

Manchester United will be linked with their usual raft of transfer targets this summer and want to strengthen the spine of the team with a new centre back, central midfielder and striker.
With a replacement needed for Edinson Cavani — and possibly Cristiano Ronaldo — it is thought United could make a move for Tottenham’s Harry Kane or Darwin Nunez of Benfica.
The midfield options are believed to include Declan Rice (West Ham), Kalvin Phillips (Leeds), Ruben Neves (Wolves), Yves Bissouma (Brighton), Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio) and Aurelien Tchouameni (Monaco).
In defence, United are said to have discussed Antonio Rudiger, who is available on a free from Chelsea, and Jurrien Timber (Ajax).
But with agents being told by United that failing to qualify for the Champions League could slash the club’s budget to as low as £20m, many of those targets could be out of reach for new manager Ten Hag.

There will be an overhaul of the United squad this summer with the number of players leaving Old Trafford possibly hitting double figures.
Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Lee Grant are set to move on as free agents and Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Nemanja Matic and Phil Jones could follow.
Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek will return from loan spells at Sevilla and Everton respectively.
Van de Beek hopes to revive his United career under his old Ajax boss Ten Hag but Martial is still intent on leaving.
The big question mark is Cristiano Ronaldo, who has endured a frustrating season despite scoring 18 goals.
The Portugal star is known to feel there will be no quick fix for United’s problems as he weighs up whether to stay for the second and final year of his contract.
However, finding another top club willing to pay his £500,000-a-week wages would be difficult.

Nahh man both won't work ... Ten Hag's team press high and play with a high line ... Maguire with his pace can't defend in a high line ... He also pushes hus fullbacks really high and sometimes in the midfield , AWB can't do any of those ... So it is best to sell both of them and also Martial

Sign - Kingsley Coman or Anthony for (RW) since we have no one to play there Sancho is better on the Left Rashford can't play on the right and I'd pick Sancho over Rashford any day of the week. Sign - Marcus Llorente or Amadou Haidara for (CM/CDM) since we actually don't have a holding midfielder think these two atm would be best for united and there both better than Matic, Mctominay, pogba and Fred. Sign - Darwin Nunez or Harry Kane (ST)these two are the only strikers we should be looking for and no one else heard a few things for dembele from lyon but that's lowering the Standards we need a top Striker that is young such as nunez if we're looking for a creative striker then go for Kane. Sign - Kalidou Koulibaly, Lucas Klostermann or Manuel Akanji for (CB) this and midfield should be the most looked at positions since we've had a bad defence and midfield for the last 9 years we need a fast, composed strong center back who can pass out from the back and to help varane out unlike Maguire or lindeflop, bailey is good but we don't start him cause we're a dumb club😂. Sign these and you have some chance of winning some silverware and after that get rid of (Pogba, mata, Matic, Shaw, cavani, Jones, Maguire, donny) if we try not starting any overatted youth players then we be grand 💯 stick with ten hag and let him build Cause Ole wasn't a manager he came from a Norwegian league which I could win or anyone tbh and Ralf isn't either he's just a sporting director tbh Mourinho was the last actual manager we had 😂

Nunez would be better and is better than Kane but because he's better and kanes English we won't sign him how united work, could have gotten Koulibaly for 100 mil who is better than Maguire in every way possible you don't even need to watch Koulibaly to know he's better than Maguire the slab head fruit I'd put any Sunday league player over Maguire but an extra 20 mil was too much to ask for but we rather waste 45 mil on amad diallo who imo the most overrated young player atm 😂
