Harry Kane has admitted his kids are learning German quicker than he is and have started skiing as his family settles into Bavarian life.
The England captain is already proving his worth to Bayern Munich with an astonishing return of 27 goals in 26 matches since joining from Tottenham last summer.
But Kane and his family - wife Katie and children Ivy, Vivienne, Louis and Henry moved over from London a few months ago - have fully embraced their new country.
'They're in school now and have been skiing the last couple of weekends,' Kane told The Guardian.
'Just having that has been great for them. We've met a few of the parents at school and made friends with team-mates' wives and kids.
'Slowly but surely it starts to feel like home. People ask what are the big differences, but a lot of the routine is pretty much the same.
'You miss friends you have at home or a golf course, but you soon learn about those things here and it becomes part of your home.'
While Kane, as a £100million star striker, isn't allowed to go skiing, he is happy to see his kids on the slopes.
He added: 'I haven't been yet but I do want to go and watch them. They're loving it. They'll be speaking the language before me too.'
As well as joining his Bayern team-mates in wearing lederhosen, the traditional Bavarian dress, and holding steins of beer at Oktoberfest, Kane has also been exposed to other traditions.
The Guardian article sees him mobbed by hundreds of happy fans on a visit to the Kirchweidach branch of the Bayern fan club in the Bavarian Alps.
Kane's visit sees him sing along to Bavarian chants, season the soup in the tradition of wedding couples in the region, and playing a curling-like game using litre beer glasses rather than stones.
Kane, 30, and his family have moved into a £30million hilltop mansion in an area dubbed the 'Beverly Hills of Bavaria'.
Initially, Kane lived in a £10,000-a-night suite at the Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Hotel in Munich following his move from Spurs.
The Mirror reported that Kane's home comes complete with a spa, sundeck, views of the River Isar and a garden on the edge of a forest.
The property was previously owned by former Bayern players Mehmet Scholl and Lucas Hernandez.
Kane formerly lived in a £17m mansion in north London with his wife and four kids.
