Keane Lewis-Potter is leaving Hull City's pre-season tour in Turkey to finalise a £20million move to Brentford.

The England under-21 international has been on Brentford's radar for the past year and they failed in their attempts to land him in January.

But the Bees returned with a sizeable offer, believed to include an initial fee in the region of £16million, that the Championship club deemed acceptable.

Lewis-Potter is boarding a plane from Istanbul, where Hull lost to Fenerbahce on Sunday, and heading to complete a step up into the Premier League.

The winger is expected to land a six-year contract, significantly improving his salary in the process.

A host of top-flight clubs have kept tabs on the 21-year-old but Brentford's interest has been consistent.

Lewis-Potter has been at Hull - his hometown club - since the age of 14 and was the Tigers' top scorer last season with 13 goals in 48 appearances.

Thomas Franck is adding youth to his squad over the summer, with Bologna full-back Aaron Hickey, 20, having already joined.

The Bees have also made an enquiry for Wolfsburg forward Omar Marmoush, who spent last season on loan at Stuttgart.
