Robbie Keane has heaped praise on Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford by likening him to a young Thierry Henry at Arsenal.
The former Tottenham striker insists the 21-year-old mirrors the skill-set shown by the Gunners legend when he first arrived in England from Monaco.
Rashford was given the nod once again down the middle by interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of Β£75million man Romelu Lukaku and should he continue to impress as a No 9, Keane is in no doubt he can follow the example of Henry.
Working as a pundit for Manchester United's trip to Wembley to face Tottenham, Keane said: (Marcus) Rashford reminds me of (Thierry) Henry when he first came to England.
'When Henry came here you weren't sure if he was a striker, if he could finish. He was playing on the left and right wing. He had genuine pace like Rashford but now he is playing as a No 9.
'(Ole Gunnar) Solskjaer has seen in him that he is a genuine striker who can score goals. To leave (Romelu) Lukaku out who cost Β£75m and play a 21-year-old, he can achieve a hell of a lot. He is only going to get better.'
Rashford has netted seven goals so far this season, which leaves him fourth on the club's top scorer list behind Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba.
But since the arrival of Solskjaer, Rashford has been pulled in from the wing and deployed as a central striker which has paid off. He has three goals from the Norwegian coach's opening five matches in all competitions.
Having made his debut under Louis van Gaal as a teenager back in February 2016, comparisons flooded in and expectation soon became massive on Rashford's shoulders.
He has gone on to become a mainstay since then for club and country and while his current boss did not use the Henry comparison, he does feel he can be as good as Tottenham's Harry Kane, the man he faces at Wembley on Sunday.
'We can talk about Harry Kane and his class. Marcus has the potential to get up there also,' Solskjaer said on Friday.
A comparison of the two England strikers at the same age shows Rashford has made a further 78 Premier League appearances and has 20 more goals in the league than the three Kane possessed aged 21.

some people will jus be talking rubbish..he said above that he reminds him of young thienry Henry and has never drawn comparison if the both career..he compared young thienry Henry to rash Ford which I think at this age,Henry has not attained to the height which rashford is currently in..so read up and understand before commenting rubbish...thou for now Henry was a better player than rash Ford in overall of his career which for now i accept but let's judge the both when they retire...kill Tottenham manchester United...
