ROY KEANE told an Ipswich fan "I'll wait for you in the car park" in a furious confrontation after Ruben Amorim's first Manchester United match.
The incident happened at Portman Road following Sunday's 1-1 draw between the Red Devils and the Tractor Boys.
The game marked Amorim's debut in England after replacing Erik ten Hag.
But despite taking an early lead through Marcus Rashford, United were unable to clinch victory after being pegged back through Omari Hutchinson's wonder strike.
And with both teams sharing the points, things got heated at full-time between pundit Keane, 53, and a home supporter.
The Irish United legend spent two years as Ipswich manager between 2009 and 2011.
He won just 28 of his 81 matches and was sacked midway through the 2010/11 campaign with Ipswich in 21st place in the Championship.
Video showed Keane leaving his Sky Sports desk before walking over to the sideline where a fan was waiting.
Keane could be seen leaning in and heatedly speaking to the man while gesturing with his hand.
The fan looked equally animated as Keane continued to deliver a tongue-lashing, with the pundit heard on camera saying: "I'll wait for you in the car park."
At the same time, other Ipswich supporters poured forward to confront their former boss.
And one could be heard shouting: "F*** you Keane."
Keane's incident with the Ipswich fan came months after an Arsenal supporter was found guilty of headbutting him.
Scott Law was convicted of assaulting Keane at a match in September 2023.
A judge ruled he head headbutted the pundit and pushed him through the doors at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium for cheering a United goal.
SunSport exclusively revealed Keane was left “shaken” as pundit pal Micah Richards pinned Law against a wall during the confrontation.
The married dad of two, who claimed he was acting in self-defence, was given a 12-month community order and a three-year match ban.
Law has lodged an appeal against his conviction and sentence, but a date has yet to be set.
Afterwards, Keane admitted he was starting to get fed up with life as a pundit.
He said: “I’ll struggle for the next 10 months doing this. I love football, but the hassle of matches, getting to games, and the hassle of fans.
“I was in court a few months ago with somebody headbutting me, do you think I enjoy that side of it? Absolutely not.”
Earlier this month Keane also revealed his future plans to move abroad when he quits his job on Sky Sports.
Keane told The Overlap: “In the next couple of years, I reckon I will be moving abroad… putting it out there.
“Do you know what, Switzerland, maybe? Switzerland is beautiful.”
