EA Sports are hosting a party in London to celebrate the global launch of FIFA 19 with some of the biggest names in football and entertainment on the red carpet.

The game launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 28 but eager FIFA fans can play the game early for 10 hours if they shell out for Origin Access Premier.

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne will have plenty of time to play the game as he expected to be out for at least three months with a knee injury. The midfielder was in attendance after heavily featuring in EA's promotional FIFA 19 content.

De Bruyne appeared in a FIFA 19 advert which saw some of the world's elite football players starting national campaigns over disagreements with their final ratings.

The midfielder is in the top 10 best players in the game with an overall of 91 which also makes him the joint best Premier League player alongside Eden Hazard and David De Gea.

Manchester City are commercial partners with EA Sports but with the event being held in the Tabacco Dock in London, the rest of the Manchester City squad probably didn't have time to make the trip down from Manchester.

Also at the red carpet event was comedian Jack Whitehall. The Arsenal fan has appeared in videos with FIFA Youtubers such as KSI, Miniminter and AnEsonGib.

As well as De Bruyne, plenty of other Premier League stars were also in attendance with London clubs well represented.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld and midfielder Erik Lamela arrived together. The former will be having words with EA as they downgraded his overall by one for this year's title.

Crystal Palace also had two players with both Wilfried Zaha and Mamadou Sakho attending but the pair decided to pose on the red carpet separately.

West Ham's Michail Antonio and Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon made an appearance while Leicester City's James Maddison and Wolves' £18million signing Adama Traore made the trip down from the Midlands.

FIFA 19 is shaping up to be one of EA Sports' best ever releases, we reckon it's the best version of FIFA we have seen on current consoles.

With exceptional graphics and a host of new animations, it's the smoothest and most realistic playing experience we've seen in a football game.

A major new feature is the addition of full Champions League and Europa League licenses which bring full, authentic matchday experiences to the game including the official trophies and the iconic Champions League anthem.
