Khabib Nurmagomedov: Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player ever

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Cristiano Ronaldo crossed paths in Manchester this week, with the UFC star in England for a number of sporting commitments.

He took the chance to visit Manchester United's training ground, as well as attending their game against Everton at Old Trafford over the weekend, though he might have been disappointed to see that Cristiano Ronaldo didn't start the game.

"He's the best ever," Khabib said alongside a photo of himself and the Portuguese on Instagram. "Keep doing your things champ.

"You inspire millions of people around the world."

The post consisted of a series of photos showing the two squaring up to one another, as though they were at a pre-fight weigh-in.

Cristiano himself commented on the post, saying: "It's always good to see you my friend".

While Khabib was in that part of England, he also went to watch Liverpool's 2-2 draw against Manchester City at Anfield on the Sunday.
