Jurgen Klopp believes that it should have been Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick and not him, the one to receive the ESPN Manager of the Year prize.
Liverpool won the Premier League last season for the first time in three decades, yet Klopp has made clear that the award should go to the German tactician who led the Bavarians all the way to the Champions League trophy last summer.
"[If I deserve the award] more than Hansi Flick, who won the Champions League? No," Klopp told the press conference. "What I can say [is that] I was not involved in the vote.
"I won the FIFA award last year pretty sure because of Champions League.
"As long as I get these things alone I am not very interested to be honest but, anyway, thank you very much for whoever voted for me and sorry Hansi you were probably the right one to get it."

The most humble coach to ever grace the game. Donald Trump should learn from Kloop.
