Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany speaks to Sky Sports after his side beat Chelsea to be crowned EFL Cup champions.

Reflecting on the game, Kompany says: "It is a difficult trophy to win, everyone is involved from the young guys at the start to now. Everyone is involved."

"I am always ready to play, I haven't trained much but I am so happy to achieve these things with this wondeful club.

Kompany also talks about the controversial moment when Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to be substituted.

"I know how good Willy Caballero is on penalties, last time we won it he won it for us so I didn't want him to come on! It didn't happen in the end.

"Of course I have never seen it, I wish I could do it whenever I get subbed."

Willy Caballero was Manchester City's hero when they beat Liverpool on penalties to win the Capital One Cup in 2016.

He spectacularly rewarded the faith of then manager Manuel Pellegrini with saves from Lucas, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana in the shoot-out after he was selected ahead of first-choice Joe Hart.
