Kylian Mbappe has described Marcus Rashford as 'one of the most dangerous players in England' ahead of Paris Saint-Germain's clash with Manchester United on Tuesday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's face their most difficult challenge of the season so far when they finish the French champions in the opening round of the Champions League, with Mbappe and Rashford set to be key attacking talents for their respective sides.
But the PSG star praised Rashford for his actions both on and off-the-field ahead of their contest at the Parc de Princes this week.
Mbappe was quoted by The Mirror saying: 'He's one of the most dangerous forward players in England.
'Paul Pogba has spoken about how special he is – and he doesn't talk about players in such a way often.'
Mbappe also hailed Rashford's work to raise awareness about free school meals in the United Kingdom over the summer.
The Manchester United forward forced the Government to extend their policy of free school meals over the summer just gone following after writing a letter to Boris Johnson.
Earlier this month, Rashford was awarded an MBE for his activism but began a petition a week later asking for more help from the Government to extend the school meals program.
The petition received over 200,000 signatures on the first day and Mbappe claims that Rashford is using his high-profile status very well in society.
The Frenchman added: 'To tackle an issue as important as child poverty is one of the most important things that somebody can do. So I have full respect that he's been doing that and trying to make a real change.
'I do think there is a requirement for players to use their position to make a difference in the world. We've been given so much and it's important that we give back.'
Rashford scored the winning goal in Manchester United's last visit to PSG, as a controversial penalty from the England international settled a thrilling Champions League last-16 tie in 2019.
Mbappe said the Manchester United man showed great maturity in slamming home the winning penalty but claimed he will not be focusing on previous encounters between the two.
Mbappe added: 'When you take a penalty in that situation, how much practice you have put on the training ground doesn’t matter. It’s about confidence and he’s a player who plays with so much confidence.
'What happened in previous seasons is not important anymore. This club has a clear ambition to win the Champions League.
'Last season we came close, but close is not good enough for us anymore. We have some of the best players in Europe and the target is clear.'

even if not the most dangerous, he is one of the most kind hearted people... i know kindness can't be judged or compared, but what he did during this pandemic is much more than just charity... he is helping the poor and children cope up during tough times... sir marcus, you deserve immense gratitude for what you have done... hope you achieve immense success at football too 👏👏👏
