Frank Lampard is ready to take Chelsea training today.
The former Everton manager is returning to the Blues to take charge to the end of the season in a caretaker capacity.
Lampard returns to the club following his sacking in January 2021.
The Times says he will oversee training before the club announce his appointment until the end of the season.
And in a huge boost to Blues fans, Lampard will have Ashley Cole and Joe Edwards alongside him as assistant coaches.
Lampard's appointment gives Chelsea time to conduct a thorough search for their next permanent manager.
