Against someone like Palace he can be useful. I've always said this guy is the most talented midfielder we have going forward but the thing he lacks is confidence and that down to our fans constantly harassing the guy in social media to put him down. I think if given the chance he can definitely have a good game against Palace but unfortunately he got injured again otherwise I'd have played him against Palace 100%.

Hes a palace player now but will still get an ovation from the crowd. Remember technically he has won everything with Chelsea and was our main defender in the UCL as John was booked towards the end, to think he did a wonderful job as the step in centre back.

That sucks cos Mason needed a rest and Barkley is ideal to break down teams like Palace. Even if he has become a bit of a scapegoat I still think any player is a valuable squad player at Chelsea bar Alonso who is absolutely atrocious at LB and should be eased out by an academy player.
