Laura Woods rejects Love Island star's date proposal after Arsenal win

Laura Woods savagely rejected Love Island star Charlie Brake's date proposal after Arsenal's win against West Ham on Monday night.

The Gunners cruised to a 3-1 victory over the Hammers, keeping Mikel Arteta's side seven points clear at the top of the table. And during the Gunners' emphatic win, Woods took to social media to praise Ben White's performance.

The presenter gushed: "Ben White's magic." And her adulation for the defender prompted Love Islander Charlie to try his luck.

He replied: "You're magic," under Woods' post. Charlie's witty response made Woods laugh and say, "Thank you Charlie, but she swiftly shut him down when he tried to take things a step further romantically.

He proceeded to extend a dinner invite to Woods and wrote: "Dinner?". However, his proposal caused Woods to lose her appetite and she said: "I am not hungry, but thank you."

The pair's exchange left fans in stitches and they flocked under the post to take digs at the reality TV star.

One fan quipped: "That's a pie and a half -albeit one that won't be eaten cos she's not hungry," alongside a slew of crying face emojis.

While a second user compared Charlie's failed attempt to Harry Kane's penalty miss against France at the World Cup. Alongside a GIF of Kane's blooper which included Kylian Mbappe laughing, the fan wrote: "Oh man… he shoots… he's Kane'd it."

A third supporter continued the onslaught and scoffed: "Aim for the moon Charlie, at least if you fail, you'll land amongst the table for one, please." But Brake didn't seem too bothered by Woods' rebuttal and mused on Tuesday morning: "If you don't buy a ticket you don't win the raffle."

However, Charlie isn't the only one who's felt Woods' wrath on social media in recent times.

She brutally savaged a fan for having a "small penis" after they sent her a misogynistic message under an Instagram post last week.

Woods is mega busy with work these days too, hosting Amazon Prime's coverage of Chelsea vs Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.
