Lauryn tried to befriend Kyle's wife telling her 'all footballers are the same'

Lauryn Goodman tried to befriend Kyle Walker's wife a year before she fell pregnant with the England football star's baby.

Pals close to Annie Walker, 30, have claimed reality star Lauryn made a beeline for the WAG in a Manchester night club to console her after it became known Kyle, 33, had cheated on her with Ex on the Beach contestant Laura Brown in April 2019.

Lauryn allegedly told her 'all footballers are the same' and that she 'understood' what Annie was going through.

And two months later, Lauryn, 32, messaged Annie again, during a chance meeting in Ibiza where she was on a 'make or break' holiday with Kylie, inviting her to Pacha nightclub and calling her 'gorj', short for 'gorgeous', in a WhatsApp conversation seen by MailOnline.

But despite overtures of friendship, just over 12 months later, Lauryn was expecting her first baby with Kyle while he and Annie were on a temporary split.

MailOnline can also reveal Kyle refused Lauryn's request that he brought her a £9,000 Cartier bracelet for Christmas, on behalf of their son Kairo, instead putting £2,000 in her bank account which she later spent on a Louis Vuitton bag, amid claims made by friends close to Lauryn that the Manchester City star showered her with lavish gifts.

A source said: 'Annie had no idea who Lauryn was when she approached her in Nuage nightclub during a night out in Manchester with her sister, where she was letting off steam after Kyle's affair was made public.

'Lauryn wanted to be her shoulder to cry on and consoled her about Kyle's misdemeanours, saying his behaviour was typical of 'most footballers' and later text her to ensure she got home safely.

'And when they were both in Ibiza two months later she turned up the friend act again, trying to meet up in Pacha, having realised she was in the White Isle with Kyle.

'Yet months later she got together with Kyle, which left Annie convinced the only reason she was trying to get close to her was so she could steal her partner.'

They added: 'Trying to befriend Annie is typical of the vindictive and calculated behaviour she's exhibited behind the scenes over the past year.

'She's made Annie's life a misery.'

Annie, who is expecting her fourth child with Kyle, announced the couple would be separating earlier this month after 13 years.

The split was confirmed days before MailOnline revealed Kyle was the father of Lauryn's three-month-old baby, known only as 'KW'.

The 81-capped England star broke his silence last Friday by apologising to Annie for the 'upset' he's caused her, a nod to his numerous cheating scandals, which included his fling with Ex On The Beach's Laura who claimed they romped in the back of his £200k Bentley.

Annie was spotted heading to the gym on Friday, still not wearing her wedding ring, as she continued to take time out of the relationship.

MailOnline can reveal Kyle is fighting to save his marriage. The pair tied the knot in 2022, but he continues to live apart from his wife after she kicked him out of their £2.4million marital home.

He will be attending all of Annie's future baby scans and continues to be present for their three children.

And Kyle's bid for a reconciliation with Annie is further boosted by the fact she has yet to speak to any legal representatives about a future divorce.

A source close to the couple said: 'Annie hasn't spoken to one lawyer.

'At the moment, she's concentrating on herself, her kids and ensuring her pregnancy runs smoothly.

'The longer she goes without seeking legal assistance, it gives Kyle hope he can win her over again.'

The England defender has the weekend off as his Manchester City side do not resume their fixtures until next Saturday's FA Cup fourth round clash with his former club Spurs.

Last Sunday, Kyle was named in the Team of the Year at The Best FIFA Football Awards following his treble winning season with Manchester City.
