Crystal Palace have had an approach for Leeds United teen sensation Jack Clarke rejected by the Championship leaders.
Palace contacted Leeds to ask about Clarke’s availability and were told the 18-year-old winger is not for sale.
Palace are the latest Premier League side to target Clarke and Tottenham and Bournemouth are already tracking him, while Manchester City have previously shown interest.
Leeds are determined to hang on to their academy product and made him the best-paid Under-18 player in their history when he signed his first professional contract in November 2017.
Leeds are adamant they will not cash in despite growing interest.
Clarke, who was born in York, has come through the ranks at Leeds and is happy at Elland Road.
He was thrilled after impressing on his full league debut in Friday’s win over Derby County when he had a hand in both Leeds’ goals.
“It’s massive every time I play,” he said. “I want to make an impact and make a difference.”
Clarke is sure to be called up soon by England and Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate and Under-21 coach Aidy Boothroyd witnessed his display against Derby.

I hope Jack Clarke stays at the club and becomes as big a legend as Allan Sniffer Clarke. The club needs loyalty from players to progress & get back into the PM
