Leeds have suffered yet another injury blow ahead of Saturday's visit of Arsenal after centre-half Charlie Cresswell dislocated his shoulder in training.
The England Under-21 defender was in contention to make just his second Premier League start against the Gunners.
But Cresswell has now joined an absentee list which has hit double figures, with Marcelo Bielsa’s squad down to the bare bones ahead of the busy festive schedule.
The 19-year-old, who has also made three substitute appearances, was in line to play because centre-backs Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk are both injured, Junior Firpo is suspended and Robin Koch has only just recovered from illness.
Such is the club’s injury crisis, 16th-place Leeds only have nine senior players available to face Arsenal, meaning another 19-year-old, striker Joe Gelhardt, is likely to make his second league start.
A further concern for boss Bielsa is that three of his fit stars - Raphinha, Tyler Roberts and Diego Llorente - are all just one booking away from receiving an automatic one-match suspension.
