Leeds supporters were left livid after a penalty was given against their side during the clash versus Tottenham.
Ezgjan Alioski was penalised for a challenge on Steven Bergwijn, with Harry Kane stepping up to convert the penalty and put Tottenham in the lead.
Leeds fans felt that referee David Coote was wrong to give the penalty as the initial contact from Alioski took place outside the penalty area.
One Leeds supporter wrote: 'Contact was outside the box, surely!'.
Another added: 'Never a penalty. That slight joke of a contact was outside the box as well. Clear intention from the ref against us.'
In addition, another wrote: 'Contact was outside the box. Alioski’s feet still clearly outside the line even after the player hit the ground. Another “London” penalty....'.
Supporters of other teams were also left perplexed by the decision.
A Manchester United fan wrote: 'How's that a penalty for spurs? The challenge happened outside the box. The leg Alioski challenged also was Bergwijn's left foot outside the box.
'I can't understand that'.
Another observer commented: 'Contact for the penalty was clearly outside the box. How have they got that wrong?'.
After Kane's goal put Tottenham in the ascendancy, Jose Mourinho's side doubled their lead through Son Heung-min.
Toby Alderweireld later made it 3-0 to Tottenham.

The rules may be unfair but the rules are the rules. There are no rules for some and different rules for others. So, no reason to treat Tottenham differently from the like Liverpool, Man City or Man United. Stop looking for things that are not there... Penalty, end of story.
