Leicester 2-4 Spurs: Bale's late brace crushes Foxes' UCL chance

  /  R47

Tottenham completed an impressive comeback over Leicester in a 4-2 win that ensured they will play European football next season.

Match Report

Two Jamie Vardy penalties saw Leicester twice take the lead at the King Power Stadium in their own quest for Champions League football.

However, Kasper Schmeichel's own goal opened the door again for Spurs, who netted twice more through Gareth Bale.

The victory saw Tottenham finish above Arsenal, who were 2-0 winners over Brighton, to confirm qualification for the Europa Conference League.

Mikel Arteta's side will not play in Europe for the first time in 25 years after finishing eighth. Leicester qualify for the Europa League with the defeat.
