Leicester's mid-season swoop to sign Brendan Rodgers and his backroom team from Celtic cost the Premier League side £9million.
Rodgers was chosen by the Foxes to replace the sacked Claude Puel and he was unveiled alongside assistant Kolo Toure, Chris Davies and Glen Driscoll on February 26.
The figure was included as a clause in the four-year deal signed in April 2017, and was reportedly set to drop in the summer when his Parkhead exit would have been cheaper.
Rodgers won seven trophies in just under three years in Scotland, but his exit angered many supporters with the club closing on an historic treble treble this season.
Alongside the managerial switches, changes are afoot at the club with head of recruitment Eduardo Macia due to depart the club on Saturday.
The Spaniard has been with the Foxes since September 2016, but his departure marks a change of strategy.
The club are also continuing with plans for a brand new, state-of-the-art £80million training facility with hopes to have it completed within the year.

The irony is that our ex-manager claimed a transfer fee greater than the ‘best striker in Scotland’ will achieve, despite the Scottish media narrative.

Shows how little money matters in the premiership, dropping £9m for managers these days, plus they don't blink about paying that and more paying off the manager a year into his contract.

It'll be worth it in the end. You can tell Brendan will take them places! (Coming from a neutral Blackburn fan)

Anyone know if Puel had a termination clause in his contract?
