Caglar Soyuncu has been presented in a Leicester shirt for the first time after he was granted a work permit to complete his £20m move from Freiburg.

The Turkish defender signed a five-year contract on deadline day but had to wait for his move to officially go through.

But Claude Puel revealed ahead of the home clash with Wolves this weekend that a permit had finally been granted for the 22-year-old.

'Soyuncu, it is official,' Puel said. 'He is a Leicester City player and we are going to wish him a good welcome, of course.

'He will arrive in the evening today (Thursday).

'He will not be match fit for this game and after a little injury we will see him come back in the training sessions and we will see when he can be available.'

He is the seventh and final signing of Leicester's summer business and arrives as one of the finest prospects in Turkish football.

Soyuncu made 55 appearances in two seasons at Bundesliga outfit Freiburg, and has already earned 15 senior caps for his country.

He will wear the No 4 shirt at the King Power Stadium this season.
