Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Ricardo Pereira sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the 4-0 win over Aston Villa and will miss the remainder of the season.
The full-back has been one of the stars of the season for the Foxes but the Portuguese now faces the possibility of not featuring again in 2019-20, including at Euro 2020.
'We've got Ricardo Pereira who will be out for the rest of the season,' Rodgers said on Thursday.
'He had a challenge and has hurt his ACL. He's not had an operation. He's just with the medical team.
'It's a blow for us. It's an opportunity for someone else. It's a shame.
'You've just got to see how the player reacts. You're looking between four to six months. That will be the time we are expecting.'
More to follow.

in the debate of lesser evils, this is not true, if you're not too old and u don't suffer from preexisting medical conditions, you'll recover if u have Coronavirus within 2 weeks... an ACL injury rules you out for 9 months, and u may never be the same player anymore, think about it!
True, ACL injury can be devastating and extremely painful, while Athletes, considering their fitness, would probably come out of covid-19. Still, both are pretty scary.

is better to suffer from injury than to suffer from Corona VIRUS
