Let Dele Alli lead the line for Spurs in the absence of Harry Kane

Tottenham have been unlucky to lose Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min at the same time but Mauricio Pochettino doesn't have to panic and I don't think he will.

There's Fernando Llorente, a target man who showed a couple of seasons ago at Swansea that he can score goals. There's Lucas Moura, who can stretch teams running in behind - and I'd throw Dele Alli into the mix because I'd love to see him play as a striker.

Can he leap and win balls in the air? Yes. Does he like it to come to feet and link play? Yes, it would need working on but he does have the bravery and desire to receive the ball in tight pockets and turn with it.

Does he have the speed and mobility to run in behind? Yes, he's done it from midfield where he can see the gaps. He would just have to adjust his timing.

Llorente is 33 and Moura is just coming back from injury. Pochettino will work out which games suit Llorente and Spurs could also use a false nine.

Moura can do the job if fit, Erik Lamela has done it and Alli is definitely another option. He could be the secret weapon.

What Spurs shouldn't do, and I don't think they will, is make an emergency short-term signing.
