Lewandowski beats Ronaldo & Messi to win All Football Player of the Year 2020

We are delighted to announce Robert Lewandowski has won All Football Player of the Year 2020 ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, with votes cast from AFers all around the world.

Votes were cast by 2,312,847 fans in the All Football Player of the Year 2020 poll with Lewandowski dominating the standings.

The Bayern Munich star received the most votes of 2,003,018, among which 1,037,770 voters chose the Polish as their '1st' option in the poll, with in total 7,633,340 points collected, ahead of two-time All Football POTY winner Ronaldo who collected 5,314,719 points from 1,632,501 votes.

Lewandowski's Golden Year

It caps off a memorable year for Lewandowski, who scored 55 goals in 47 games last year and finished as top goalscorer in three competitions last season: the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League. he helps Bayern won the treble, added triumphs in the Uefa Super Cup and German Supercup, and the striker was at the heart of it all.

In last year, Lewandowski won the FIFA Men's Player of the Year Award and the UEFA Men's Player of the Year Award. He has been named to the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season three times, and is the joint third-highest goalscorer in the history of the competition.

And now, the 32-year-old has been recognized as the Player of the Year in 2020 for All Football's acclaimed award.
