Lille's president insists their sporting director not joining Roma

Lille’s President has insisted that sporting director Luis Campos will not be joining Roma. “He’ll work with us for years to come.”

Campos had been tipped to become Roma’s next sporting director, but Gerard Lopez made it clear the Portuguese was sticking with Lille.

“I’m confident Luis Campos will stay with us, as will our Coach,” he told RMC Sport.

“It’s true that some clubs have tried to take him away from us, to ‘snatch him’ from the club, but he won’t leaving.

“He’ll work with us for years to come.”
