Lionel Messi was spotted packing on the PDA with his stunning wife Antonela Roccuzzo as they enjoyed a getaway with his Barcelona team-mate Luis Suarez and their families in Ibiza.

The Argentina player cosied up to his stunning wife on a lavish yacht near the Spanish island, as she displayed her incredible figure in mismatched bikini.

Both Lionel and Luis were enjoying a much-needed break after the La Liga in Spain finally concluded last week, having been delayed by three months due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Antonela proudly showcased her amazing physique in a Hawaiian printed bikini top and contrasting leopard print bottoms as she relaxed in the beautiful sunshine.

The model and mother-of-three enjoyed a sweet embrace with her shirtless husband as they relaxed on the lavish yacht with their families.

Both Lionel and Antonela were joined by their sons Thiago, seven, Mateo, four, and Ciro, two, as they had fun launching themselves into the ocean from the yacht's edge.

Lionel also proudly displayed his ripped physique in printed swimming shorts as he relaxed with team-mate Luis on the yacht's edge after taking a swim with their families.

Luis - who joined Barcelona in 2014 - was joined by his stunning wife Sofia Balbi, and their children, Delfina, nine, Benjamin, six, and Lautaro, 20 months.

Sofia showcased her equally gorgeous physique in a pink printed bikini as she enjoyed a spot of swimming in the ocean.

The two families jetted off despite the Catalan government advising citizens not to leave Barcelona because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They aren't the only Barcelona players who have ignored government advice and taken the opportunity for a holiday, with Gerard Pique and Marc-Andre ter Stegen also leaving the city for a short break.

Ibiza is a regular holiday destination for Messi and Suarez, who also headed there last summer with their families along with Cesc Fabregas, Jordi Alba and their respective wives and children.

Barcelona will hope their break in the sunshine helps to restore the club's fortunes on the pitch as they prepare for one final pursuit of silverware this season.

The Catalans drew 1-1 with Napoli in the first leg of their Champions League Round Of 16 match away in Naples ahead of the return leg on August 8th.

Should they emerge victorious, Barca will face Chelsea or Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals, with Bayern the most likely opponent following their 3-0 win in the first leg at Stamford Bridge.

But Napoli won't have given up hope of causing a shock by beating Barca at the Nou Camp, with the club in turmoil following an outburst from Messi after they lost their league title to Madrid.

Messi accused his team-mates of lacking character and said their Champions League defeats to Roma and Liverpool in recent seasons showed they lacked the mental toughness to compete with the world's best teams.
