a goal is a goal man whether from set piece or open play. CR7 isn't recognized as one with the most goals which are only open play buh both open play and set pieces. that's why set pieces are there so as to help teams score otherwise corners, penalties and throw ins would be scrapped off so everyone scores from open play yo be ready for 1 nil wins and draws
