Liverpool have completed a deal to sell their historic Melwood training base to property developers in a move that has angered local residents.
Melwood has been Liverpool's headquarters for more than 60 years and is just as big a part of the club's fabric as Anfield.
It has been the club's intention, though, to move the senior team to Kirkby - where the academy is currently based - so that everyone can be on one site.
A new facility is being built for the first team and Liverpool will move there for the start of the 2020-21 campaign.
Fenway Sports Group, Liverpool's owners, have financed the building of that centre and it will cost more than £50million. Part of the expense will be financed by the sale of Melwood, which is estimated to be worth £10m.

LFC brought the land for their new training ground off Knowsley Council in a massively deprived area (Kirkby) for 11,500 (160,00 for the site) at the time KBC was flogging off green spaces. A local friends group or Town Council was told if they wanted to buy the local park it would cost them 280,000 per acre.
