The Anfield ballboys were at the heart of the action on Tuesday night, with one giving Trent Alexander-Arnold a ball quickly for the fourth goal and with another running on the pitch at full time.

He ran in front of a distraught Lionel Messi and made a rude gesture, raising two fingers in front of him.

The ballboy was chased by a steward as he sprinted across the turf in delight.
