Liverpool will earn €4.5m (£4.2m) in prize money alone after they beat Chelsea in the 2019 UEFA Super Cup.
The Reds will earn €3.5m just for turning up the match in Istanbul; an extra €1m is on the table for winning the game.
The prize money, though not insignificant to the Reds, is only a small percentage of the approximate €110m Liverpool earned in collecting their sixth UCL with victory over Tottenham Hotspur in June.
