Liverpool's successes in recent years have boosted the team's stock price.
Recently champions of the Premier League (2019/20) and the Champions League (2018/19), the Reds have increased in value and prestige, something the club will be looking to capitalise on in the commercial deals they are working on.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are negotiating a new shirt sponsorship deal.
Currently, the shirt bears the name Standard Chartered, a British financial services company, with which the club has signed an agreement until the end of the 2022/23 season for 40 million pounds a year.
However, it seems that both the bank and Liverpool are satisfied with their business relationship and, according to the English newspaper, have begun talks to extend their collaboration in the future.
Doubling the offer
However, the club, aware of the success they've enjoyed in recent years, have increased their demands, so Standard Chartered would have to double their offer of 40 million pounds to remain linked to the Merseyside outfit.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are asking for 80 million pounds per season, which would make the Reds' shirt the most expensive in world football.

that's how money ball approach creates a sustainable financial growth & environment within the club unlike some club who depends on their owner's oil money completely
