Liverpool is believed to have shelved plans for an open-top bus parade at the end of the season - unless the club secure an unlikely second Premier League title.
After securing the Carabao Cup in February, Jurgen Klopp's side looked to be targeting an unprecedented quadruple as they continued to compete in the FA Cup, Premier League, and Europa League.
But after defeat to Manchester United in the domestic knock-out competition and Atalanta in Europe - as well as faltering form in league action - the club could be set to wave farewell to their manager of nine years with just one piece of silverware this season.
Klopp announced his intention to leave Anfield in January, sharing that he had 'run out of energy' on Merseyside after a decorated spell in charge of the club.
But Reds fans' chances of saying goodbye to the manager with a parade have reduced considerable, as per This Is Anfield.
Should Liverpool claim the Premier League, however, plans would be reconsidered, with a number of dates previously considered and put to Liverpool City Council dependent on success at home and abroad.
After drawing 2-2 with West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Klopp's side sit five points off league-leaders Arsenal, and four behind Manchester City snapping at their heels.
The idea of an end of season celebration in honour of Klopp's time at the club was rejected out of hand by the man himself earlier this year.
'That's the one part (of the parade) that is not so cool, that it could be seen as a farewell,' Klopp said.
'I don't think that makes sense.'
Liverpool held their first parade through the streets of Liverpool under Klopp in 2019, after they defeated Tottenham 2-0 to win the Champions League in Madrid.
A second was planned after the Reds won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup in 2022 - and held just one day after the club had fallen 1-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Stade de France in Paris.
'Without a shadow of a doubt, no club in the world - this world - that they lost the Champions League final the night before and the people arrive here in the shape they are, the mood they are,' Klopp said at the time. 'Absolutely outstanding.'
'This is the best club in the world - I don’t care what other people think.'
Liverpool will attempt to get their title ambitions back on track against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.

Los Wankos or should I say government department for foreign affairs. Lol, Spain carrying out politics using its football clubs. So that's why they do well, corruption is never investigated at Madrid, until now by UEFA & FIFA. We knew it all along.

Happens to me a lot especially when am playing EAFC career mode. would start out nicely with energy in Division 4, by the time am reaching division 2 just a league away from being promoted to EPL I would lose my energy and passion to continue playing the RTG career.
