Liverpool are reportedly planning a surprise swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga just a few months after he joined the club.
The 19-year-old was a £34million summer signing from Rennes but has barely featured in Carlo Ancelotti's first team plans this term.
Although the France international scored on his LaLiga debut after coming on as a substitute in the win over Celta Vigo, he has had his minutes limited at the club.
With Madrid currently comfortably top of the table by eight points having played one game extra compared to their rivals, Camavinga is struggling to get an opportunity ahead of more experienced stars including Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro.
According to Nacional though, Camvinga is still frustrated over his lack of opportunities especially after being left on the bench in Sunday's goalless draw at home to Cadiz having been overlooked in favour of Fede Valverde.
The report adds that the 19-year-old's frustration is compounded by having multiple offers this summer and only joining Madrid because of a promise of significant playing time by president Florentino Perez.
Although it will be likely any January departure would only be a loan move, the reports also suggests Liverpool have emerged as surprise contenders to rescue him from his Madrid nightmare.
They claim Jurgen Klopp has shown interest in the midfielder in the past and in a fixture packed second half of the season on the cards, will be keen to boost his side's ranks.
Although Camavinga has made 17 appearances this term, he has only made five league starts - playing just 489 minutes in the Spanish top flight.
However, one of those starts came on Wednesday when the midfielder played a full 90 minutes for just the second time in LaLiga this season as Ancelotti's side ran out 2-1 winners at Atheltic Bilbao.

This is so silly. Sometimes I really wonder who writes these articles. What nightmare, he said himself he know he would have to work hard to play upon his arrival because the team is extremely talented. How could he have expected to walk into Madrid's starting 11? He's staying in Madrid.
