to be honest what's wrong with Liverpool want striker we buy Ekitike and he's playing good football why now we waste this money £150 million get defend 2 only number 5and number 3 only about midfield and striker we are good please Why slot you want waste this money just for starting league there's January window ??
I agree it's expensive to bring Isak however I see it as an issue of depth. LFC lost Nunez, Jota ( RIP) and Diaz. Ekitike can't feel for all three. If a team is serious about competing at the highest levels it needs the sharpest of knives.

🔑 Reasons Liverpool Want Isak So Badly 1. Top-Class No.9 They’ve Been Missing Since Luis Suárez and prime Firmino, Liverpool haven’t had a consistent, clinical centre-forward. Darwin Núñez has flashes of brilliance but remains inconsistent. Isak offers pace, technique, and ruthless finishing, fitting Klopp/Slot’s system better. 2. Premier League Proven Already thriving at Newcastle, he’s shown he can score against the league’s best defences. Unlike an overseas signing, no adaptation risk — he knows the pace and physicality. 3. Versatility & Style Can play as a central striker or drift wide left, similar to how Henry or Benzema operated. Liverpool value flexible forwards — Isak can link with Salah/Díaz and slot into multiple shapes. He’s also excellent in transitions and counter-attacks, a hallmark of Liverpool’s play. 4. Age & Long-Term Value At 25 years old, he’s entering his peak years. A signing that could lead the line for 6–7 years. Liverpool see him as a franchise striker, not a stop-gap. 5. Market Context Strikers of this calibre are rare and cost huge sums (see Kane £100m+, Osimhen €130m+, Haaland €150m release clause). If Liverpool don’t move now, he may become unaffordable or go elsewhere. Newcastle’s financial pressure (FFP/PSR rules) made this a unique opportunity. 6. Title Challenge Ambition Liverpool want to close the gap on Man City. Adding Isak means a squad with Salah, Díaz, Núñez, Jota, Gakpo, and Isak — depth and firepower. Shows the club is serious about winning the Premier League and Champions League now. ⚖️ Why the Price Is So High Newcastle don’t want to sell, so Liverpool must overpay to force it. His contract runs until 2028 — no cheap exit. Demand > Supply in the elite striker market. 👉 So in short: Liverpool see Isak as the final piece of the puzzle — a world-class No.9 who can fire them to trophies.
