The next instalment of the Premier League title race comes at Anfield on Friday night as Liverpool welcome already-relegated Huddersfield.
It appears to be one of the biggest mismatches in the Premier League but at this stage of the season, it provides a banana skin for Jurgen Klopp's men.
Sportsmail assesses the differences between the two clubs.
WAGES
Huddersfield's highest earner is Aaron Mooy on £50,000-a-week but his salary is dwarfed by Liverpool's highest paid stars.
Mohamed Salah tops the bill on £200,000-a-week while Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk earn around £180,000. Many of Liverpool's players have performance-related incentives in their contract while a few of Huddersfield's will be facing a relegation cut when they drop into the Championship.
Liverpool's annual salary pay-out costs around £122m, while Huddersfield's comes in at £32.5m.
TRANSFER SPEND
Huddersfield have already spent money with an eye on Championship football next season. The 21-year-old Karlan Grant arrived from Charlton in January for £2m.
Since earning promotion to the Premier League, Huddersfield have spent just shy of £100m (£98.8m) on bolstering their squad.
In turn, Liverpool have splashed out around £325m on transfers in the equivalent time in order to go from top-four contenders to Premier League challengers.
Virgil van Dijk and Alisson are the most notable arrivals.
SILVERWARE
Huddersfield's last trophy came more recently than Liverpool's when they won the play-offs in 2017 to gain promotion to the Premier League.
But it is Liverpool who are the more decorated club and at present are competing to win their 19th league title and sixth European Cup.
Jurgen Klopp hasn't won a trophy yet since taking over as Liverpool manager in 2015 and their last cup came under Kenny Dalglish in 2012.
Klopp has lost the League Cup final, Europa League final and Champions League final as Liverpool manager.
PROSPECTS
For Huddersfield, a season in the Championship is already lined up but as Sportsmail reported in March, they are a very well run club off of the pitch.
As well as signing players who are thought of as being able to thrive in the second tier, they have used the revenue from being in the Premier League to bolster their training ground facilities.
For Liverpool, nobody is thinking beyond the end of the season. Klopp has an outstanding chance to win his first piece of silverware as manager and potentially end their 29 year wait for a league title.
Failing that a Champions League triumph would suffice, especially after losing to Real Madrid in the final last season.
PERFORMANCE
Liverpool have almost scored and conceded exactly the same amount as Huddersfield but with the numbers the other way round.
Klopp's men have scored 79 and conceded 20, the meanest defence in the league.
Huddersfield have scored 20 and are the most goal shy team in the division, while they ahve let in 69. Only Fulham (76) have conceded more.
Huddersfield have lost their last five and Liverpool have won their last five. There will surely be only one outcome at Anfield?

And if somehow Huddersfield get a point at Anfield, it would cost Liverpool the title and that too would be a mismatch😂😂

manes wages are disrespectful for a player of his quality if he's not earning as much as salah
Mane's wages will certainly rise. This season's wages were most likely determined based on last season's performances. And surely last season, Salah was light years away

Reminder: Fergie took 4 yrs to built MANUTD to win EPL n this is similiar with what Klopp has been building; a near perfect team. Thus an EPL title will start rolling now. ⚽️🏆> LFC

I was about to ask the same question... I figured Firmino would be the least likely of the Liverpool front 3 to be rested vs Huddersfield

It’s Huddersfield tho. He could play Moreno up front & still beat them

Triple Captain on Mane for me. Not buying rest/rotation theory. Can you imagine that hate Klopp would get if they dropped points to HUD?
