Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn is to join League One Oxford United on loan to kickstart his career with regular first-team football.
Woodburn, 19, became the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool's history in 2016 but struggled last season on loan at Sheffield United and wasn't named in Jurgen Klopp's 29-man squad for Liverpool's training camp in France this week.
Liverpool hope a spell under Scouser Karl Robinson at Oxford will help the Wales international rediscover his early promise.
Woodburn made headlines when he broke Michael Owen's Liverpool age record by scoring against Leeds aged 17 years 45 days.
His last appearance for Klopp came against Brighton in March 2018 but he did score his second international goal in March against Trinidad.

what has he done to make you think he's unserious please if you don't want give a youngster opportunities sell him. he has taken every chance given to him klopp has just ignored him. if u like be insulting young talents you guys will end up like man City and Sancho
I think he was given enough time, even he was in the starting line-up at one point, but he is failing to make use of his time.

this guy is not confident in himself. He is still think that he is very young, forgetting that Sancho was terrorizing defenders at his age. Woodburn is a long way to make it and may end up worse than even Kent or Wilson.

can't I just wake up and see a better news about Liverpool this season? if it's not loan moves, it's losing matches. Am tired of this!
