Liverpool youngster Bobby Duncan has spoken out for the first time since a public bust-up with his agent Saif Rubie and the club.
On Thursday afternoon Duncan took to social media site Twitter to write 'I just want to play football!' but the comment was almost immediately deleted.
Earlier, Duncan's agent had released a lengthy statement in which he accused Liverpool of 'holding him against his will and damaging his mental health' while 'bullying' the player by not permitting a transfer.
It was claimed Duncan has not left his house for four days because of the stress of not being allowed to leave Anfield on loan. Since the episode, Rubie has completely deleted his Twitter account.
Liverpool's released a brief statement on the initial episode, brandishing Rubie's words as 'unfounded allegations'.
'As the interests of the player in question are not best served by either inaccurate speculation, inflammatory statements or public discourse, we will be making no further comment,' the club added.

He must come to his sense. Just because he score a beautiful free kick doesn't means he a great player. He's still young the club knows what they are doing .
That freekick is Harry Wilson mate not Bobby Duncan

Bobby Duncan's agent is a complete and utter fool. He definitely doesn't have his clients best interests at heart. The only person he is looking out for is himself! Lets not forget Bobby Duncan is still only18 years of age, I can't help thinking Bobby's family could of sought out someone who had more professionalism, someone who should be putting Bobby's interests first! Saif Rubie is just your bog standard vulture-agent!

Just send him out on loan but without the transfer obligation at the end of the deal. Simples?

The lad is 18 years old and from the interviews I have seen, not the sharpest tool in the box. Give him a break. He is getting badly advised and his young head turned by agent hyperbole. As has been said on this thread, sack your agent and get one with more professional standards of behaviour. Harry Wilson could be far more frustrated than BD, however, he is not creating any waves and is quietly getting on with it and he will no doubt get his reward (either at Liverpool) or with many other clubs who will want players with the 'right' attitude.

Let me just get this right?? Is he not playing football?? Was he not just on tour with the first team?? Does he not start every game for the 23s?? We should just give him his transfer and let him go play 3rd tier football in Azerbdjdubskstan where he belongs. I wouldnt mind if he was a Micheal Owen or Robbie Fowler but he isnt even close. We have let forwards go better than him. He needs to understand how lucky he is to be playing for us with the amount of talent he has. He isnt preimer league standard

Get yourself another agent as no club will want a nineteen year old player who has yet to establish himself in the first team who has a troublesome agent

First agent ever to be suspended by the FA in 2007! Agent for future England forward Berahino, currently playing the Belgian second division! Not blindly believing everything coming out of the club,( think there's something similar with Ryan Kent at the moment) But look at Harry Wilson as an example of how it should be done!

Player exploitation by greedy agents will harm youngsters and the lad needs to get rid of his agent and focus on improving himself as a player and working hard to earn a first team chance.

Well don't allow your agents to talk you out of appearing for the U23s and effectively downing tools....if ALL you want is to play football. Sad little child needs to realise he's achieved absolutely NOTHING in his career.
