Liverpool's Harry Wilson 'attracting interest from Newcastle and Leeds'

Leeds United have entered the race for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson along with Newcastle to get the youngster on loan.

The Reds are unwilling to sell the Welshman but are open to sending him out on loan once again after his spell with Bournemouth last season.

Liverpool want him to gain more Premier League experience with Leeds and Newcastle battling it out for the free-kick specialist on loan, according to the Northern Echo.

The Premier League champions are hoping to get a hefty loan fee to send him out once again, with him not quite ready to play in Jurgen Klopp's set-up.

Leeds are looking to strengthen their squad as they prepare for their first topflight season in 16 years.

The Whites, led by Marcelo Bielsa, were crowned champions of the Championship to earn their place back in the Premier League after a long hiatus.

Bielsa is keen to bring in more attackers and Wilson fits the bill after he scored seven goals whilst on loan with the Cherries last campaign.

Meanwhile, Steve Bruce is also hoping to add more quality to his Newcastle side with Wilson a prime target for the Toon.

They are also eyeing up Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, who had impressive loan spells at Charlton and Swansea City last season, but they will face competition from a host of German clubs.

Leeds are reportedly willing to make a £15million bid to sign Wilson permanently - with Klopp still to assess the situation before making the final call.
