Liverpool's value has sky-rocketed since Fenway Sports Group bought the club in 2010, it has been confirmed.
The Reds have been featured in Forbes magazine's 50 most valuable sports teams on the planet for the first time in the club's history.
Liverpool were valued at £437million when the FSG group purchased the Anfield club back in 2011.
Fast-forward eight years and Liverpool are now worth a staggering £1.73billion - an astronomical increase of £1.3billion since the takeover by the Americans.
Liverpool are 45th on Forbes' illustrious rich list, and are one of just eight football teams to feature in the top 50.
Real Madrid are the most valuable football team on the planet, according to the list, and are worth a staggering £3.4billion.
Barcelona rank just one place below them with a net value of £3.2billion.
Manchester United used to top the list, which is today topped by NFL giants Dallas Cowboys, but rank down in sixth and are valued at £3billion.
They remain the Premier League's most valuable club.
Elsewhere Manchester City rank 25th, Chelsea 32nd and Arsenal 42nd.
Liverpool's financial increase comes as the club are enjoying more success on the pitch.
Last season Jurgen Klopp guided the team to a sixth Champions League victory and just missed out on winning a first Premier League title.
