Lokomotiv Moscow coach Yuri Semin insists they “played to 100 per cent of our potential” in the narrow 2-1 defeat to Juventus.

The Russians were dealing with a terrible injury crisis, but had still taken the lead with Aleksei Miranchuk and were on track for a shock victory until Paulo Dybala’s late brace.
“We played to 100 per cent of our potential,” said Semin in his Press conference.
“I am grateful to the players, but even that was not enough. Some were struggling for match fitness, such as Barinov, Howedes and Krychowiak, so towards the end we were struggling and had nobody to come off the bench.
“Juventus kept the pressing on constantly and suppressed all our attempts at a counter-attack. Cristiano Ronaldo told me afterwards that it was difficult and I replied we did everything possible.
“For a club like ours, just playing games like this is important. It doesn’t happen every day.”

The truth is , they were lucky to score 1st . That goal gave them the opportunity to park the bus , sit back and have nothing to lose. That goal at the same time put Juventus under pressure . This game could have gone so bad for Lokomotiv if Juventus had scored 1st . See how calm Juventus were after the 2nd goal. This kinda games happens and in some cases the better team loses. I m so happy that we won . Sarri doing great job and we can see and watch beautiful games weekly. Ronaldo plays everywhere like he’s 23 . I see him scoring more goals . Dybala is definitely going nowhere. He has show that , under a great coach like Sarri, he can play along CR701 and also score goals. Playing Ronaldo,Dybala and Higuain was absolutely awesome 👏 we hope to see more of that . Congratulations 🎈🍾🎊🎉 all ma Juventus fans .
