Julen Lopetegui has appeared in his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League match against CSKA Moscow in Russia on Tuesday night.
The Real coach spoke about the players missing from his squad and the two latest setbacks.
"We have to approach each game in the best possible way and get the maximum number of points possible," he told the media.
"We know what the atmosphere will be like, we have to be prepared for a Champions League match of the highest demand.
"The feelings after such a tough game [Atletico Madrid] were very positive, it was a clear step up in quality against a team like Atletico Madrid.
"We are going to try to create as many chances as possible in each game and I am certain that everything will go where it should go.
"The game [against CSKA] is going to be very demanding. The opponents are of a great level and are at home.
"We will confront the difficulties that we face with the resources that we have. They have got their best players back for this match, like Horour Bjorgvin Magnusson.
"We will try to respond to whatever they throw at us."
Lopetegui then spoke about two of his new players and the key absence of captain Sergio Ramos.
"We have total confidence in [Alvaro] Odriozola," he said.
"He had an injury, he played and injured himself again, when it's his turn, he will play.
"Vinicius [Junior] is a very young lad with a great future and is taking it one step at a time and when we think he can help us we will use him just like with any player.
"He [Ramos] hasn't come with us because he has played countless minutes more than anyone else and because I've made the decision. Before I did the same with Toni [Kroos]. You take into account the statistics and make a decision."
Finally, the Los Blancos boss assessed the form of CSKA and touched on the mental state of his side.
"They are on a very positive run, with players returning," he said of Tuesday's opponents.
"They had two goals ruled out in Viktoria Plzen, they could have won. Tomorrow we will see how they play, if they have a bank of five, but they have top players and we will have to have a great game for sure.
"The psychological state is fantastic. We are very much looking forward to a Champions League match against a great opponent in a great stadium.
"Once you hear the Champions League anthem, you're fully motivated. It will be difficult but we have the resources to achieve our goal."
