Loved-up Chelsea star Kai Havertz kisses girlfriend Sophia on beach

KAI HAVERTZ and girlfriend Sophia Weber shared a kiss on the beach as they enjoyed a romantic getaway to glitzy Saint-Tropez.

The loved-up couple piled on the PDAs on Monday before Havertz heads back for pre-season training with Chelsea.

Havertz, 23, is expected to arrive back at the Blues' Cobham training base in the next few days alongside the rest of the squad who played international games last month.

Boss Thomas Tuchel and Co are due to fly to the USA for their pre-season tour on July 9.

But German forward Havertz is enjoying the final few days of his summer break with the gorgeous Sophie, 23, before reporting back for duty.

The couple headed down to the waterfront and kissed each other on the lips as they stood on rocks by the sea.

Havertz and Sophie both cracked a smile as they shared a warm embrace.

Brunette model Sophie looked chic in a grey summer dress, while Havertz also showed off his style in a white long-sleeved T-shirt and funky patterned shorts, finished off with sunglasses.

The couple then stopped off to grab some food after taking in the seafront views.

The trip to luxury Saint-Tropez is not the couple's first holiday of the summer.

They headed to Kruger National Park in South Africa to go on safari last month.

Not much is known about Havertz's relationship with the stunning Sophie, but they are understood to be childhood sweethearts.

Sophie has close to 150k followers on Instagram and often posts adorable loved-up snaps of her and Havertz.

German international Havertz scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 47 games for the Blues last season.

And he is expected to return to Chelsea duty this weekend.

Some of Thomas Tuchel's stars are already back in training ahead of their pre-season tour to the USA, with the likes of Ben Chilwell, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Hakim Ziyech returning to Cobham on Monday.
