AC Milan could revive their interest in Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren after holding a meeting with the player's agent, according to reports in Italy.
Lovren has been at the centre of speculation over his future this summer with Milan believed to be keen to take him to the San Siro.
However, the Reds have made clear that they are not looking to sell the Croatian centre-back before the transfer window closes.
Talks of a potential transfer have quietened down in recent weeks but Tutto Mercato (via insidefutbol.com ) claim that attempts are being made to rekindle Milan's interest in the defender.
According to the publication, Bjorn Bezemer, a member of the agency that represents Lovren, held a meeting with the Italian club's officials on Tuesday.
However, it is not known if Lovren was the topic of discussion and remains to be seen whether the Serie A side return to Liverpool with a bid.
The former Southampton defender joined Liverpool in 2014 and has featured in many successful cup runs, including the back-to-back Champions League finals appearances.
However he found first-team opportunities hard to come by under Jurgen Klopp last season and fell behind Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez in the pecking order at Anfield. He was also hindered by a number of injuries, which saw him limited to just 18 appearances in all competitions, and was an unused substitute in the Champions League final triumph over Tottenham .
