Lucas Vazquez joined in the praise of James Rodriguez, following Real Madrid's 3-2 win over Levante on Saturday afternoon.
The Colombian started again for Los Blancos and did reasonably well, earning praise from Zinedine Zidane and others afterwards.
"From the first day [James] put on a Real Madrid shirt again, he's been switched on," Lucas said in the mixed zone.
"With his ability and motivation, he'll help us a lot."
Eden Hazard came on for his debut in the second half and he also showed glimpses of what's to come.
"He showed what a player he is," Lucas added.
"He can unbalance games and he can be the difference."
Injuries continue to plague the season so far, though, and Sergio Ramos was forced off with a problem in his calf.
"We have to keep working," he explained.
"We have to find the best way forward for each player and let this bad phase pass."
